Wonderful Day Today!

He said rock today after leaving because he always has to visit the big rock before walking home.
After two semi rough days we had a really good day today. Tue we did not have the car seat, so we did a total of 1hour/2miles of walking and riding two buses. This was fine if it was not for the cat calls received on the way there (I had absolutely no clue a gym bag on one hip and a baby and another was so attractive). We spent about thirty minutes in the pool and then another thirty in the shower/getting ready to walk home. Wed swimming went great, we were in the pool for less then thirty min because it was a little cooler for some reason. When we first got out of the pool there were no family rooms open so we were waiting, one came open, but some teen boy(who was not in the waiting area before we got there and obviously is not a family) ran into it, as Josiah is standing there shivering. Luckily a few seconds latter someone else comes out, so we were able to get in that one. While in the family restroom getting ready there were multiple people who decided to pound on the door (as if the occupied sign was lying to them). This triggered Josiah not wanting to leave the shower non the less leave the bathroom. From his perspective with lady yelling at her kid and the pounding, there was nothing good outside that door. When I finally convinced him to get out of the shower, get dressed and leave he was already really worked up. Then on the way home he started to arch his back and throw himself. I had to put him down so he would not get hurt on multiple occasions and tried to see if he would walk, but he did not want to walk either. He did not want to stand or sit at the bus stop and was getting frightened of most of the cars passing by. By the time we got home. I took him inside, sat him in the chair closed the gate and hid in the bathroom for a few minutes just to breath and catch my breath. He was the whole time screaming at the gate. I returned to hold him and calm him down. Today was a much better day. We had the car seat so my dad dropped us off at the pool. the pool was still a little cool feeling, but not horrible. We started as we normally do with entering the pool at the steps, doing a float and picking him up. He then wanted to go in the little kids area and go down the slide and play with the bubble water. He wanted to go back into the deeper water so we did then back to the slide. Then off to the lazy river. Where he floated and even turned over to swim three times. This is really awesome since there is a current in the lazy river. The lifeguard on duty there was really impressed with his floating. He ended up flipping to swim eight times today. On our way out another guy said "Look it is the amazing floating baby!". Really wish I had a camera that was waterproof so I could share some pictures of his swimming. Maybe hubby can take some Sat or Sun or he can swim and I can shoot. I entered Josiah into a cutest kid contest that ISR is doing. Here is to hoping he wins. Voting starts Mon and goes through Wed. Off to bed now that I have given and update. It is almost 11:30 and have to be up at 8(much better then the 7 we have been up the past three days). Hubby will not be home until 1a. Here are some pictures from earlier this week, after swimming.
