Swimming Saturday and Sunday

Saturday:

Went swimming today and although Josiah was still upset he was willing to go get daddy's hand and then mommy's hand. I want to be able to take him tomorrow as well before the week comes where he will only be with mommy and will have to either float or get the stairs or wall. We tried to get a video today; However, the batteries died on the camera. Maybe we will be able to get one tomorrow. Josiah was a little weird about other people being in his house when he got up, but had fun once we got breakfast and headed to the park. He took a short nap after the park. When he got up, he ate lunch and we headed off to swimming. We were at the pool for close to an hour. Then came home and took another nap. The morning started off rocky, but ended wonderfully. On a side note kids say the darnedest things. A couple of preteens that we watched had made the most interesting comments on a few things. First the boy was like WOW, your husband is like Diesel! I wish I had muscles like him. Then the girl and him were both talking about how we were the only skinny family at the park that day. She was like Josiah is skinny, you are skinny, my brother is skinny, I am skinny, and your husband is skinny.

Sunday: 

Lets start with he said church and Tee-tee today! We started off the day with going to church. There were no teachers in LM's room which is fine since we do not always put him in the room. I guess a lot of people do not attend church during the summer. Which I knew was true from my Christian Ministry class I took last year, but really seeing it impact a BIG church like Resurrection Life is kind of sad. We are still going over the series "We Know The Future. This is an in-depth look at Bible prophecy and events happening in our world today" (from the website because I could not remember the name of the series. It so far has been really interesting. Hubby is thinking about doing Mudventure a 5k obstacle course type run in July, but

is still looking for a team to go with. Also the day after that we are looking to go to the family car show at church in the afternoon. Next weekend, though we might get to play at a HUGE greenhouse. Will be our first time going to this one so hope Josiah likes it like the other ones we have gone to a few times. We went swimming again today and he was still a little upset, but seen some semi smiles. Daddy and Aunt T were our swim buddies today. One women said "WOW! It was really cool seeing him float like that there"! We will see if his successful happiness continues this week when I take him by myself. He even fell asleep on the way to check out animals at the pet store. Josiah loved looking at the all of the little critters. Like the chinchilla, hamsters, and rats. He was not as happy when he could not run off and ended up biting me in the hand, but other then that going to the store was wonderful and uneventful.
